iPad 3 Will be Released in Steve Jobs Birthday ?
Latest Apple Tablet, iPad 3, rumored to be released exactly on the anniversary of Steve Jobs, February 24, 2012.
The launch is a tribute to the late founder Steve Jobs as Apple. As quoted by Focus Taiwan, the news was obtained from sources in Taiwan that used to be the supplier of Apple.
If the rumors are true, then the launch of the iPad 3 will be released just on Friday. Means such as Apple's habit, a press conference for the iPad 3 will be held a few days earlier.
Usually Apple has always held a press conference launching the newest gadgets on Tuesday or Wednesday. Then, a few days or weeks later, their new product launches officially, Friday or Saturday.
Just for the record, the first generation iPad released on Wednesday, January 27th, and was in the store on Saturday, April 3, 2010. Meanwhile, the iPad 2 was launched on Wednesday, March 2, 2011, and was in the store on Friday, March 11, 2011.
Actually, it is not uncommon for Apple to launch its latest gadget in a day or a special date. Typically, Apple always launches when all preparations finished product. But to honor its founder, Apple will make exceptions to it.
To ensure that the iPad 3 ready to be released on the anniversary of Steve Jobs, Apple's manufacturing partner a holiday schedule will shorten the employees at the Lunar New Year holidays.
Foxconn, Apple's favorite manufacturer, is rumored to have asked employees at the division iPad only five days off during the Lunar New Year holiday. Even to set up the iPad 3, the employees there are required to work overtime during the Lunar New Year.
Simplo Technology (Apple battery maker), Amer International Group (makers of the connector), and Genius Electronic Optical (optical lens supplier for Apple) to do the same for all employees to prepare for the launch of this iPad 3.
